Ok so shut off the forum, the shopping cart. For that matter, shut down the whole site...

It is hard to have partners. I was almost made homeless a couple of years ago by just such a person. After that it is hard to keep up your ability to trust others. Unfortunately, no advice is really possible. It is up to you and within yourself to figure out just how much you are willing to go to see if somebody is trustworthy.

I wish you luck and am glad to see that there are those around you that can help.
