※ Tutorial o1

As a request from someone, I decided to make a tutorial on how I make Sky Flames.
I'm sorry if this isn't good, it's my first tutorial.

Tools: Tablet + Photoshop 7.
I guess this could be used in almost any version of Photoshop, and it might be hard without a tablet, but it is still possible to do it.

Step One
Color in the flame with a dark orange.

Step Two
Copy the layer you just colored ( use ctrl + j ). Then put it above your lineart.

Step Three
Set that layer to "Linear Dodge" and you'll get something that looks like this:

Step Four
Start putting layers with warm colors above that. Remember to group them together ( use ctrl + g ) when you work on them. I also blur them with the blur tool, but the smudge tool works the same.

I add a yellow on the outside first.

After that, I add a darker orange on the inside.

For the dark part of the flames, I add a generic red to it and blur it, for this, I really suggest you use blur.

On the outside, I add some white to it, mainly to make it lighter and make the other colors stand out more.

Then I add white spots in it. I do not group this layer with the others, but I guess you could. I also use the blur tool to make it softer, but not much.

Also, you can choose to put in an outer glow on it to make it brighter, although I didn't in this.
If you do want to do that;
Step One: Select the original layer and right click on it so you can go to "Blending options".
Step Two: After you've gotten the blending options up, select "Outer Glow" and go to the page for that.
Step Three: Set the color to a bright orange and put it on "Normal".
Step Four: Put the "Quality" part to it on the "Half Round" setting and then mess with the spread and size in the "Elements" part of it until you have something you like.
After that, you're done with the flame.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope it helps.
Also, if you tried it, I would like to see your results. And if you have any questions, just ask.
