1) I overspent the non existing money in my checking account and have been overdrafted twice going on three times so far. Thus the credit I was trying to build is quickly crumbling. So here's a little advice, credit cards may seem more practical than cash, but unless you are extremely responsible, you get fucked over

as long as you pay off your negative balance within 60 days, you should be fine. your credit history will only be hurt if the bank puts you on collection and closes your account. also, overdraft fees are easy to get out of, just call or visit a different branch, if one feels, do the other. For the first time, they'll usually take care of it and reverse the fee. to quickly build credit, get a secure credit card (backed by a deposit), trasnfer your cellphone to your name and get department store credit cards (very easy to qualify). of course, don't get carries away, always pay off everything first. but give it a few months to a year, and you'll be able to buy that eclipse spyder with minimum down payment. ;)
