Kyungsoo Drabbles
Title: No Other Man

Kyungsoo's mornings are usually spent in the kitchen, the toaster on at his right as he stands in front of a heated pan for bacon and eggs while the last traces of sleepiness leave his body. The eggs are boiled the days he feels a little extra tired and oranges are pressed into fresh juice the days he feels a little more awake and alive.
Every now and then though, Chanyeol wakes up first and leaves the bed before the younger. Even with his rather clumsy nature, Chanyeol is quite the cook and manages a delicious breakfast despite his questionable experiments with the ingredients and without breaking anything. Most of the time that is.
He remembers entering a messy kitchen with its walls, floor and roof covered in colourful juices and bits of fruits after he woke up to the sound of a blender and a scream. He had laughed when Chanyeol explained that he had forgotten to add the lid when he wanted to make them some smoothie and promised to clean up. The gesture had earned him a peck on his right cheek that he would have been fully satisfied with, but when Kyungsoo wiped his mouth, because his face, too, was covered with the smoothie he had tried to make, he had lunged forward and wrapped his arms around the smaller male, who tried to push him away. He had complained then, said that ‘now you got me dirty too,’ so when Chanyeol decided to mess him up a little more, he didn't fight back. They needed to clean the kitchen either way.
Kyungsoo's days consist of reading words and numbers pressed onto paper after paper. They consist of one meeting followed by another where he has to explain what said words and numbers mean. They constist of a light pat on his ass by Baekhyun, a couple of questions asked with shy smiles by Jongin as well as Sehun, sometimes with a snarky comments from the latter, a squeeze on his shoulder by the hand of Joonmyun along with ‘a well done’ or ‘good job’ and at least three calls from Chanyeol and twice the number of text messages. They consist of emails that only reads ‘I love you!’ that Kyungsoo is supposed to move to his trash bin, but saves in a folder titled "My Man".
Some days when Chanyeol isn't too busy himself, he'll pay Kyungsoo a quick visit at his office and if he has the time, he'll bring a cup of coffee and a piece of pie. It calls for Chanyeol to make a short run to the kitchen (Kyungsoo likes to use quotation marks when using the word kitchen for this room), because he always forgets to grab a plastic spoon at the counter before leaving. He says it's because he's too busy thinking about Kyungsoo, who will roll his eyes, but laughs nonetheless.
Like his mornings, Kyungsoo spends his evenings in the kitchen, but the room isn't nearly as quiet during these hours nor does it seem as big with Chanyeol by his side. After months of burned dinners, Kyungsoo has finally learned when to stop Chanyeol's possessive hands and ever curious lips after being pushed into the counter. Likewise, Chanyeol has learned to throw a quick glance at the counter before he lifts Kyungsoo to sit on it, because smashing a tomato with his ass ruins Kyungsoo's mood no matter how distracting Chanyeol's touch might be.
Night time follows evenings and cuddling is moved from the sofa to the bed. Most of these hours are spent sleeping, but some in wake as well. It doesn't matter if Chanyeol's hands are on his hips, arms or thighs, and it doesn't matter whether Kyungsoo is kneeling down in front of him, lying underneath him or seated on top of him, because when everything is over, Kyungsoo will always find himself falling asleep in Chanyeol's embrace, a love confession still echoing in the dark.

This is far from what Kyungsoo had planned when he decided to follow Jongin's advice from last night.
“You have nice lips. Use them," a follow-up to "seduce him."
He feels ridiculous with the candy wrapper between his teeth, because he wasn't able to get it off with his fingers and Kyungsoo almost rolls his eyes when he thinks back of Jongin's words. He already knows that his lips are attractive, but he doesn't know if it'll make any difference to Baekhyun, and if that isn't the case, he doubts this works to his advantage.
It's not that Kyungsoo hasn't been in a relationship before or won a couple of hearts over, but he's not quite sure if the same methods work on guys. They haven't so far at least, because all of his gestures have only been regarded on a platonic level by the other. He had tried to tell Jongin this, but the younger had seen this as an opening to crack a joke and mentioned Kyungsoo's many male fans. He had responded by throwing his pillow at him, which was funny until he refused to return it.
When Kyungsoo received a lollipop from one of their fans, he figured that maybe he should make something out of Jongin’s advice. He curses himself for thinking this now though. He can't even tell whether the task is so difficult because of the wrapper itself or if it's because of the fact that he always turns into a fumbling and sweating mess next to Baekhyun. He looks over at the other, who fortunately seems too occupied with his iPod to notice him. He turns his body away from him, before continuing to bite down on the wrapper.
This is far too messy for Kyungsoo's liking and he removes the sweet from his mouth and looks at it in frustration. Suddenly there's a soft chuckle coming from beside him. His eyes find Baekhyun with one of his hands covering his mouth as he laughs while his other hand reaches out for Kyungsoo's lollipop. He unwraps the candy with such ease and the younger thinks he might die from embarrassment. He simply stares with wide eyes when Baekhyun opens his mouth to taste the lollipop. He doesn't know if he's disappointed or not, or what kind of expression he's looking at Baekhyun with, but it makes the other laugh, and he thinks the lollipop will fall out of his mouth from how the stick is shaking.
Baekhyun sucks on the lollipop one last time as he pulls it out of his mouth, thin lips wrapped tightly around the sugary treat before pushing it between Kyungsoo's thick lips and into his mouth. He almost chokes from the surprise, nearly spitting it out, but Baekhyun's hand keeps it in place, his body shaking from his laughter. When Baekhyun finally pulls his hand back, Kyungsoo's cheeks are burning red.
He doesn't think he'll ever stop blushing when Baekhyun laughs again after leaning into him and whispered in his ear that they've just shared an indirect kiss.
