The hoary myth is that Fox quickly cancels any show that's any good (my show of choice is "Profit"). Thus the assumption is implicit. Why care about when it would be canceled otherwise?

Its certainly a major SF work even if it sucks, and has a chance of being a cult classic even if it has no quality at all. Its interesting to see when it gets cancelled regardless...
