Mom, Dad, and Brother were here for most of last week for Baby J's birthday, which meant that lots of housework and laundry was done last week. As for grass - Two cried the first time we introduced her to grass. I think the texture (especially this time of year, when it's not as lush as it is later), or maybe just all that big open space, weirded her out. She got used to it. :D
At our household, there is no "Do you have to go potty" before sleep or nap. It's the Law. You go. MiniPlu will sometimes try to weasel out of it with "I'm okay to go potty" (read: "I don't have to go") but unless she's been in the last 10 minutes, I make her sit on the potty anyway, and, guaranteed, she goes. Same for Two. I don't blame you for being frustrated with B, especially at her age.
And don't stress on the clapping thing. Teach him some clappy songs, and he'll catch on quick. :) Heck, enlist B as teacher - gives her something to do to "help".
