I was never a Barbie fan. Not as a child, not as a mother. Perhaps it's because as a child, I was a chubby, bespectacled brunette and there was no one in Barbie Land who reflected that. Yeah, Fairytopia is Elise's crack. LOL. And the Princess and the Pauper will have you singing songs for days!

LOL! We bought the Princess and tha Pauper last week and the CD is currently in my car. I simply *love* the song Erika sings to her cat. And, yes, they are the kind that stick in your head for days.

I, too, must admit to loving the Barbie movies. Princess and the Pauper actually has a plot! And I love that they talk about being with someone because he is intelligent, kind, and a good friend. Emma and I had a great conversation about that.

We've also enjoyed Fairytopia and Barbie and the Magical Pegasus. The women in those movies and smart, brave, and great characters.
