have been busy and offline thanks to Verizon DSL and an intermittent connection, but which is now finally resolved. Thank God. Even though I'm not online every day, it's still nice knowing that I *could* be if I wanted to. Kind of like the anxiety when my car is in the shop. ok, ive just finished reading the story and i have a quick question. you dont have to respond since my password or whatever i just typed is completely fake. harry was in love with hermione, so his heart is busted and with no girl? that seems a bit mean.

Well ... he has no girl for now, which is not all that unrealistic. It's not as if he always had a girlfriend, and this story was not really about him, but rather Draco and Hermione. However, if you follow the link at the end of the story to the LJ post I did about the WAHP future, you will see that if the WAHP universe had continued on, Harry would end up with Hermione and Draco with a muggle girl.
