new email and internet access

It took a while to work out the techno-kinks, but we've finally got a home phone, internet, and TV going. In Pittsburgh we had our TiVo satellite dish, Verizon FIOS internet, and Vonage phone and thought we'd just be able to transfer everything. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that the housing association will only allow "inconspicuous" satellite

You still haven't told us how you ended up in CT, given that, the last I knew, your husband hated it and you were headed off for Miami.

Glad things are getting settled, though. :) What is B learning in kindergarten up there that's more advanced?

Dude, sorry about that. D did hate Connecticut when he was first up here for 2 weeks. But then they sent him up here again and it went better, and then they sent him up here a third time and he liked it more. We also discussed different things like the fact that all of my family is only 3 hours away by car which means that my parents, who are getting older, will be able to visit us more, and even my grandmother, who wasn't able to visit us for several years because the trip was just too damned long. Where we were going was down to the wire. Ultimately, the move to Connecticut was a promotion and the move to Miami would have been lateral and we felt it better for him to be promoted rather than move sideways

Glad to see that you are settling in. I share your pain with the moving. Will add the new email to my list.

That way I can send you (if I already have not my new email). My computer did indeed bite the big one and take the hard drive with it, so brand new computer.
