According to the stats, over half the people who took this quiz got this result. What does that mean, I wonder?

I find it amusing that both the word that Cap'n Kathy hates and SUX made it into the quiz. The Sugar Quill invented SUX, you know. Right after we invented the Internet.

I rather suspect that the quiz was slanted a bit that way; the "oldbie" answers tended to be the most neutral-sounding, and thus the most likely for a person to choose if they didn't have strong feelings in favor of one of the others.

As for fandom inventions: I'm still trying to figure out whether the random-typing thing (at least in its SQ implementation) originated with my response to the dark side's mathematician back in August of '01 (some people have thought so, though since the eventual meaning of it was different from mine, I had always assumed that you Profs had come up with that independently of me...).
