Where Does it Come From?

I have just spent the last twelve hours rearranging my apartment YET again. I'm channeling bbennett. I still have so much to do. The rearrangement that I did in December was like a test run. Tonight I moved bookshelves that haven't been moved in seven years. It was very therapeutic to remove the scrap of carpet that remained underneath them

We started yesterday *packing up* our six Billy-bookcases of books, plus the two linen-closets-turned-bookcases, in advance of our March move, and I already fear the number of boxes we'll fill.
At least you have access to Ikea, home of unpricey yet stylin' bookcases... if you have room for more, that is.

I actually bought a Billy case this weekend... but I'm not using it for books. All my books are on my "cinder-block" shelving, which is nice because it's so portable.

Many times I've wished to just drop a match and move to Barbados. Then I pull myself together and go back to work.

I feel your pain, yo. My flat is a mess, and I'm trying to clean it up and rearrange it a bit. For some inexplicable reason, I removed all my books from my shelf, and now they won't fit back in again. Just.. wtf?!
