With all the chaos breaking out in the Harry Potter fandom these days, I thought I'd brag about some happy fandom news.

Thank you for posting this. It really has the effect of putting things in proportion. We're here to have some fun (some more than others, since I'm mostly in lurker mode these days), maybe learn a thing or two, and if a few people want to mess the experience up for themselves (by putting themselves in the position of having to back up/explain everything they do), then hey - their call. No fandom is perfect - no group of people is perfect - but to let the drama overpower the good is really a shame.

Oh, that's really cool! I'd love to read the chapter, but am a poor college student with no extra money. Maybe they'll have it at the library.

Oh, and the coolest thing...the book is $18.87.

Ooh, cool! I used an article that I'm assuming is the predecessor to that chapter when I wrote up that proposal for the fanfic study I want to do eventually.

May have to look into that. . .
