Matryoshka

Aug 05, 2007 21:45

My parents just returned from a Baltic cruise, which included two days in St. Petersburg. Of course, they picked up many wonderful souvenirs for their daughters.

I am trying to get my head around this )

I think it's supposed to be Flitwick. Flitwick is short, hence using the smallest doll, and it looks like this art is based on the movies. He's featured in the movies more than Griphook, but it's possible it could be a goblin...

LOL at Quarterback Harry :D

And Pencil Eyebrow Ron? jals;dfja;sldfj

Griphook the last one? That more resembles a gay-goblin man doll.

Well, he has effeminate lips, at least to me he does. Must be hard out there for effeminate goblins.

My favorite is Eyebrow Pencil!Ron. And also...Hagrid is the second smallest. This is logical...how? *shakes head*

I think it must be Griphook, but he looks like he has a pig nose, which makes me think he's Mr. Tumnus, or maybe his dad? Can fauns wear suits? Odd...

Those are PRICELESS. I have a set of regular matryoshka dolls I got in Russia when I was a kid. My mom has them in a curio cabinet. I hinted I wanted them back but she ignored me. I take a set of these though. Can I get them online.

I hope you're displaying them with Czech Harry Puppet.

dfjaaj;f;djfa! The Trio are all kind of scary looking! Hermione looks like a boy.

I think the last one probably is Flitwick. The pig-snout nose looks like it could belong to Kreacher, but we know Kreacher would not be wearing that suit - he perfers teatowels as we know :D. It could be Griphook, but as has been mentioned Flitwick is a more, shall we say, prominant HP character.
