Fighting photos
I have to admit that I just don't get the countless pictures from SCA events of fighting. I look at them and am honestly puzzled by it. Can someone let me know why?
Edited to add: I know why I'm puzzled....I want to know why people take so many pictures of fighting.

The doctor's office finally called. Ben's bloodwork was fine, no allergies or other issues found. Next stop is the gastroenterologist.

Owies
Laying here getting ready for bed but I hurt so bad I can't sleep.

Pennsic wrapup
I am insane. No, really. I was overbooked before His Highness won crown or I was placed on vigil--so add those two duties into the mix and I hit the ground running Friday afternoon.
That may sound like a complaint and it's not. I am honored to serve Their Highnesses and wow, yeah, I'm gonna be a Laurel! *gulp*
( Let's break it down day by day ) -
A day of accomplishment
Got lots done today:
* Ironed and packed all garb.
* Sewed pants for Ro, necklines on two under dresses, straps on a Norse apron, miscellaneous repairs to dresses.
* Car 95% packed (need to pack toiletries, pillows, kids toys and Ro's bedding.
* Ran errands (bank, drugstore, Joann's for more fabric for Ro's pants).
* Got a workout in.

During evening court, my Laurel and good friend Master Philip White begged a boon of Their Majesties Arch and Runa to put me on vigil for the Order of the Laurel.
He completely fooled me. We'd had talks about this and that I was "close but not there yet" and so forth.
