So you know that Grey's Anatomy episode recently where she says something along the lines of, there comes a time when a person truly becomes a doctor (or something like that)? When I found him, I asked him if we could see the patient together since I just had this sense about her and felt a bit overwhelmed. I gave him a rundown of her history and lined up her problem list for him. He encouragingly said, "see, you've got it together. You aren't overwhelmed."

I had the exact same experience today! I went in to see my supervisor because I'm working on semester goals and I mentioned I wasn't sure what direction to go in. I told her what my thoughts were and what info I had, and when I was walking out she said "See, you did know what to do!"
I think in this learning stage, just getting the information of out of my head and having a knowledgeable person nod their head in agreement is sometimes all I need! A lot of times I know more than I think, but I don't know that I know it!

I totally agree. Statements like that are just so validating, especially at this point in our careers.
