This has been a good week so far. I came in Monday and had lots of growth in my broth culture and two very nice colonies on my plates. I worked with the broth and colonies and have managed to get a good bit of growth. I'm hoping to be able to create glyserol stocks Friday. So, its been a while since I've updated everybody. Its been a very busy couple of weeks. I had a take home Advanced Micro test that I picked up on the 27th and was due on Monday so that took up a good part of my weekend. Plus, I had a Molecular techniques test last night that I had to study for once I turned in the Adv. Micro test.

Things are good here. I came home during my break today and worked on getting my lab notebook up to speed. I also managed to clean up the kitchen a bit by unloading and loading the dishwasher. Hello all. Its been a busy week here. I had an assignment due Thursday. I was sick Tuesday and missed classes. I used that time to work on finishing my assignment. I have a test a week from Tuesday, so that means this week will be about organizing my notes and starting to study. This week has been busy and good. Marta was calm and less hectic today and yesterday. I didn't have to wait very long for the train either day, that makes for a  better day for me. So, Labor Day weekend. I meet Shane in downtown Atlanta and he drove me back to my apartment and we had lunch from Jason's Deli. Its a great little place that I will have to visit when I get money. So my class on Wednesday nights is only supposed to last until 7:50. Well, last night I finally left the lab at 8:30. I was not happy abpout that. Then, I had to wait for the train for 20 minutes. So, tomorrow is my first official day of PhD school. I'm excited but my nervous are starting to get going. I had a busy but relaxing weekend. Yesterday I spent the day washing clothes and then I meet my parents, brother and my sister's family in Macon for dinner.
