I think sometimes people fear that such interactions will be seen as shallow instead of friendly. I don't mind them, though. People are just so afraid of each other, it's kind of ridiculous.

Also, people would stop calling you "sir" if you stopped answering them when they said it. :P

yeah, this computer stuff is tricky. and then, when you figure it all out, it's because you spend all of your time figuring it out. point is, maybe it's a good thing to not be so savvy with all this lj stuff. you could turn into your daughter. or me, or anyone else on here.
