Thanks for sharing! It was a fun read and actually had some tid-bits that I hadn't come across before. I don't really know a lot about the US university system, but I guess you both started the same year, but didn't share any classes?

It's odd they didn't mention anything about his extensive campaigning for Clinton or his ongoing protests against Trump. Collins, along with Mark Sheppard and Mark Pellegrino, has been unashamedly vocal about his political views. Connecting with his fandom in this way, considering the shows popularity among conservatives, is brave in the current "Meryl Streep" climate against celebrity dissent.
