it is almost beautiful how dirty Chicago can get in the summer. wetly hot, dust in the air, smoke, trash blowing along the sidewalk and air conditioners dripping from windows. we were here today, a few blocks from my house, nearly all day. dungen, xiu xiu, andrew bird, & deerhoof. we found a patch of grass in the dirt and listened to the bands from ( Read more... )

you are very insightful. where do you live? the next thing i have in the plan is some kind of comprehensive trip to the States. i should visit you on the way.

as of the last paragraph: once you understand that, you usually become very careful of the language you're using. and eliminate commonplaces and idioms our of your sentences. ah.
