(then we saw a sort of tube going into the fountain, and caitlin crawled down it first because she is smaller and more intrepid, and i was afraid of rats. there was a beam of light about ten feet away. we crawled towards it and saw this:)
(and she climbed up a ladder and pushed the grate away and we came up on the other side of the fountain.)
