This morning on the bus, I sat across from a girl doing her makeup. While on the bus. Yes. All of her makeup.

Powder. Eyeliner. Mascara. Eyeshadow. Lipstick.

Now, a little lipgloss is fine. I've been known to put on some hand lotion too.

A full face of makeup? On the bus/metro?

Ewww.

Sadly, this wasn't the first time I saw it happen....

I wish I could do my make-up on the bus with it jumping about...lol...

Yeah, I'd probably poke my eye out if I tried that! I can't even do eyeliner standing in front of the mirror in my bathroom, much less in a moving vehicle!!!

On my morning train there used to be a lady (or she might still be there, but sitting elsewhere) who always filed her nails on the train. Compared to a full face of make-up that might be somewhat light-weight, but I just couldn't help thinking of all the dust from her nails lying around everywhere on the floor and the seat and ick!

I can handle a bit of handlotion, or a bit of lip balm or similar. I can even handle someone brushing their hair, but a full toilette? No thank you.

And a bus is shakey and rattley! How is it even possible to make it look properly???

It's funny, because just a few weeks ago, I was on my way home and I snagged my nail somehow and it made a hang-nail. I keep a nail file in my bag, for emergencies. I wanted to fix it right away, but I didn't want to offend other people on the metro...so I ended up keeping my hands inside my bag while I filed, so I wouldn't bother others!

i would trump out my eyes with the eyeliner or mascara in the bus... :p

I know! I am bad enough at doing makeup in my bathroom!!!
