I like Seattle, too, although I think I'm probably more fond of Portland overall. Spokane's weather will be a bit different, though. :)

Glad you've found a good place in Spokane. Have you told the person who owns it that you want it yet? Is it big enough you'll want a roommate?

Spokane's weather is a bit like Tucson's. It was hot and dry.

No when I get back in town next week I'll call and ask about it. The one C and I looked at was a one bedroom. Finding a roommate at this point would be hard because I don't know anyone there. So I'll probably end up just living there on my own if I do end up getting that place.

Makes sense. I suspect that it's much different during the other seasons, though.

Re: the apartment--you and C know more about it than I do, but if you're sure you want that apartment, you might want to let the owner know ASAP. Depending on the housing market in Spokane, apartments may start to disappear quickly as the next school year starts. I've lost apartments I was fond of before because I didn't move fast enough.

We've talked about it. This place is really nice, but:
  • it's a bit more than the 'rents were expecting
  • we only looked at the place because I accosted the renter and she offered to show us. That apartment isn't open.
  • LOTS of places around Spokane are sporting "To Rent" signs. Tons. Really.

She's going to call shortly. We talked about it tonight. :)
