Mackay, I have been out of the LJ loop for the last few weeks. First, I sincerely apologize for not responding to your question to your friends that you posted earlier. I saw it, said I was going to post on it later, and pretty much stayed away from LJ for the next several days, until right about now. I am truly sorry for this.
To belatedly answer your question, the first thing that I thought when I met you (to the best of my memory, since it was -- wow, about seven and a half years ago) -- was that you were a quirky, but very genuine, guy. Mind you, I don't mean "quirky" in a derogatory way at all. God knows Ev, Justin, Matt, Taylor, and Jim were quirky too. What struck me most was that you were a good guy.
