I really, really, really needed a win in grad school.

I scored a 51/50 on my last topology exam.

This is the one of the first times all term I haven't felt completely and utterly inferior to my colleagues.

Of course that included many many reasons besides your incredible math abilities. I just think you're great in general.

What you don't realize is that by definition 100% is the most effort you could ever give.

Your professor is lying to you.

And as far as Wikipedia informs me (and I have no reason to distrust it) topology is all about walking over seven bridges made of rulers.

Even I can do that (if it's not too icy).
