I got L.A. Noire near the end of my stay in Korea and was really excited for it. I think some promising and ambitious ideas went into it, but I wasn't especially pleased with how they were executed. I think I would have liked the game much more if the face recognition technology they used had been better, and if there had been more of a purpose to collecting everything and completing all the side missions (and perhaps a few more hints on where to find them - those golden film reels are elusive).
Sounds like the year's off to a good start for you and Cady, which I'm glad to hear. Shoot me an e-mail if you need a sounding board for your campaign plans.
What e-mail do you use? Because what I would probably send is too long for a comment on here. Or I could call you sometime, assuming I knew what your free time was like.
I still use mythrilwyrm@gmail.com for all personal correspondence. My schedule's wide open in the evenings and on weekends; I teach classes from 9-1 and 5-8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, though that may change if I'm able to land another part-time job. Use whichever medium you prefer, and we'll bat around some ideas.
