Papa needs a new pair of shoes

Well, it's a new decade so it must be time to finally buy a new pair of shoes. Mine are a looking pretty ratty . Lucky for me I live in southern California where nothing is truly formal...no matter how whiny some 'hosts' tend to get. But now, there's holes in the bottom of my boots...those I can have fixed. I have been looking for some good shoes to wear to the office. The women here sometimes walk around like its a fashion show with their unnaturally high heels and tight clothes. Then there's me with my big slacks and shirt. Hate shopping too!

Thankfully the women I work with do NOT wear tight clothes. I believe that would cause serious nightmares for me! Spandex (or anything form-fitting) is a privilege NOT a right.

I've been trying to take a peek online for some shoes, but I just do not enjoy browsing for anything except books. I hear a Nordstrom Rack is opening across from the Beverly Center...maybe that could be worth a trip in for some good work shoes. DO the Rack's sell shoes too?

Rack's sell shoes. Isn't there a Men's Loehmanns or something above the Old Navy?

I think the Old Navy is what's becoming a Rack. Or I may be just remembering a dream. No, someone told me that, I'm sure :)
