We went to karaoke on Saturday night, which was awesome, as karaoke is SERIOUS BUSINESS in China (and most of Asia, from what I've heard). There was a really awesome collection of English music, comparable to any karaoke playlist in the US, plus you get your own room with friends plus a neat touch screen computer. It's awesome

I'm going to have to agree with you. Unless you grew up outside of that time frame you almost certainly have to know most, if not all, the words to that song. I know Avril isn't very big anymore but back then everyone was crazy about her. And that song.
