I haven't updated in a bazillion years. I thought I'd be updating all the time once I was not in China, but the internet here is SLOOOOW. Oh well! I'm headed back to China in the morning, and I'm trying to be optimistic about it. I'm not particularly thrilled, but at least this semester it will be getting warmer instead of colder

If all else fails, you'll have to hawk your ridiculously cute mittens for a train ticket. I'm sure some motherly shopkeeper in Harbin will be more than happy to foist another pair on you.

(and yes, out of all the cool things you talk about on LJ, it was the cute mittens that stuck with me)
