I has it. It's no big deal, but I do just hope my medicine kicks in soon as I want the chest pain to go away! The cough I can deal with, the chest pain is what made me cave and go see a doctor. (The pain just kicked in yesterday, so I promise I wasn't ignoring chest pain for days and days or anything

That is a bit less convoluted as getting checked out in America, isn't it? And I remember the bruises on your arms from that Fargo nurse, it was intense.

I hope that you feel better soon and I am sorry that you are sick. Another friend of mine is in Japan and writes often in her blog about life in Japan. She recently went to the doctor for coughing, chest pain, etc. and shared her story about what visiting a hospital in Japan is like. It sounds very similar to China! My friend, unfortunately, ended up with a broken rib, though. :(
