On both Instagram and FB, I follow a feed called "Humans of New York." In fact, it should be called "Humans of the World," since it's founder goes all over the globe and brings back amazing insights from people who otherwise would never be represented

Second: Yes, I can see why that would be living hell. Some people shouldn't be parents. :-/ I just hope I can stay on the encouraging side with Alexandra.

I know, right? I reactivated this because FB is not the place for my mind to go wandering too far, unless I filter the living fuck out of it. So here I am. I still have a few friends here - like you! - and maybe I'll have more later, like I used to. Would be nice, but not necessary.

I think you and your man are doing a great job with your little one; I know it's hard, and you have doubts and somedays probably just want to cry, but she looks happy. And you and your guy are both creative, loving parents. Be consistent with her, is my best advice, after 19 years of momming. Don't be unrealistic with her, but be consistent and as long as she knows that Mom and Dad have her back? She will be more than fine, Emma. Promise. <3
