I got the very sad news this morning that my dear friend Bill Wertz died of a massive coronary yesterday morning (June 5th, 2009). He was 54. I remember him fondly, and will always remember the summer I spent with he and his long-time partner of 28 years, Sean Farrell, in Spruce Creek, PA. Hi there,

I don't think I know you and I don't think you know me, but we both knew Wertz. Wertz was a staffer over at my website for six years. We grew to become friends with him and Sean, and spent some great times together.

Your description of Wertz is exactly as I knew him. He was kind, witty, and intelligent. I miss him.
