I heard from my friend Virginia tonight. She's leaving her bad boyfriend and her small Alberta ranching community and heading back to BC with her three-legged puppy, a recent amputee.

As for me, I'm in love. These are strange times, I tells ya.

Today is an exciting day, as I have a large shipment of jodymeme arriving from the mainland at any moment. The month of June will be an experiment in living together, and hopefully a nourishing, motivating, happy time for both of us.

At the very least, I plan to spend less time stoned in the bathtub. Rah!

This sunny saturday reminds me of similar saturdays back in Kelowna when I was seventeen and Hugh and I took Chinese lessons at the Buddhist temple. "Chinese For Children."
