She apparently has had 4 c/s and got refused by homebirth midwives all over the country to let her have a trial of labor. She really wanted a homebirth. Nancy Wainer said she would take her on, so the girl moved up here for a month with her entire family in tow so that she could have a homebirth here

wow that makes the story hit close to home. What if that was you right? crazy.. I am all for natural birth at home but knowing that you have a difficult pregnancy and a high chance of complications makes me feel like one should throw that all out the window and want to be the best place in case something goes wrong for the baby. This story and the other lady with the baby that passed away makes me feel so conflicted about birthing at home. Though in the same breath if I ever have another baby I would hope to have it in a birth center and I know vinh won't go for a homebirth.
