I loved reading this! (It's Jackie, btw.) I kind of wish I had done homestay because I want to learn more about the Japanese lifestyle, but at the same time, I feel way comfortable in Sem 2 (albeit the occasional meaningless dorm rules). And I still fucking love your vocabulary! - your entries give off a really nice feeling because of it.
