Title: Blueberry pancakes and strawberry milkshakes
Pairing: Woogyu
Genre: Fluff
Rating: PG -13
Warning: Yaoi
Woohyun likes to eat blueberry pancakes and he loves to drink strawberry flavoured milkshakes. Sunggyu has never been able to understand the younger male’s strange obsession for overly sugary treats and is constantly remanding Woohyun for sneaking in a snack even though they’re supposed to be on a diet, and you’ll get fat and then we’ll have to do more exercise than before.
But Woohyun doesn’t listen because he’s just like that. Besides, the leader nags too much in his opinion and Sunggyu does not look cute at all when he nags. He laughs inwardly and makes fun of the way Sunggyu’s eyes narrow into non-existent slits like they are now when he’s angry.
Woohyun cries later when he arrives home from an Immortal Song 2 recording to find all manner of sugary snacks and delicious strawberry smoothies spirited away from the kitchen and hidden under Sunggyu’s watchful eye.
“This. Is. War.” Woohyun declares with a growl when he confronts the leader with the mysterious case of the Missing Blueberry Pancakes And Strawberry Milkshakes.
Sunggyu only shrugs nonchalantly and remarks that at least this way Woohyun will concentrate on dance practice rather than stuffing his face with carb loaded treats. Woohyun shrieks and throws a drink bottle at his leader when he realises that even his personal hoard of snacks has been demolished.
“WHY!?” He sobs and proceeds to spend the rest of the night sulking and greasing the hamster off, silently offended that Sunggyu doesn’t give a shit.
Woohyun spends the next three days staking out Sunggyu’s room and going over the dorm with a metal detector.
“Hyung, there’s no metal in the snacks you’re looking for.” Hoya says with a perplexed look in his eye.
“Shut up. I am on an extremely important mission here. I will die without my sugar fix.”
By this time, Hoya has already stopped listening and left the dorm and Woohyun continues to rummage through Sunggyu’s clothes for the Missing Blueberry Pancakes And Strawberry Milkshakes.
Sunggyu almost takes pity on Woohyun when he comes home later from a late night vocal practice session to find the younger male sprawled lifelessly across the floor of their dorm with a look of long suffering on his face. He immediately detracts this thought when Woohyun holds up a sign that says: No Food, no Aegyo.
“Thank god for that,” Sunggyu smirks, “Hurry up and take a shower already you drama queen.”
Sunggyu has to deal with Woohyun singing cheesy sad love songs from the shower all night. It’s not even like Woohyun is bothering to sing it properly. He sighs and turns over in his bed wondering if the Woohyun has realised that the snacks aren’t hidden at all.
Sunggyu threw them out three days ago.
He laughs to himself and rolls over to sleep, groaning when Woohyun jarringly hits the extremely high note in My Heart Must Go On by Celine Dion.
Another three days later and Woohyun is going crazy. Woohyun is going insane.
“Woohyun will die without his snacks.”
“Woohyun needs a strawberry milkshake.”
“Woohyun hates the hamster leader.”
“Y’know, hyung,” Sungjong says from behind the couch where he’s playing Monopoly with Myungsoo, “you should stop referring to yourself in third person.”
“Yeah, it’s kinda creepy.” Myungsoo adds.
"Woohyun doesn’t care. Woohyun wants sugar!” Woohyun growls.
“Oh dear,” Sungjong sighs, “just buy some more you stupid hyung.”
Woohyun doesn’t even get annoyed at Sungjong for calling him an idiot because Sungjong has just become the most brilliant and intelligent person ever.
When Sunggyu walks into the dorm later that afternoon, he is greeted with a sight he absolutely was not expecting.
“Hi.” Woohyun grins, traces of strawberry stains on his left cheek as Sungjong finishes off the last blueberry pancake.
Sunggyu glares at him sourly and is about to open his mouth to scold the younger for not listening to his orders when Woohyun reaches over and kisses him.
He tastes nice, soft and sweet like blueberry pancakes and strawberry milkshakes and when Woohyun pulls away, it leaves Sunggyu breathless and flushed pink.
Okay, so maybe he was overreacting to Woohyun’s addiction to sweets. They don’t taste that bad after all.
“I know” Woohyun says with a smirk when Sunggyu confesses later that night, “but I still think you taste the sweetest out of all of them.”
Sunggyu face palms and wonders whether he would rather have Woohyun singing Careless Whisper instead of his cringe inducing aegyo. After all, No Food, No Aegyo, right?
