The thumping notes blared out of the speakers in a convulated and intricate rhythmic beat. And yet, Hoya and Dongwoo still danced and shifted with perfect timing as they swung around and pulled off moves in fluid smooth movements, as if they were connected to the very heart of the song itself.
Sunggyu watch, enraptured by the duo’s perfect synchronisation as they popped off a series of powerful moves, dancing in perfect harmony with the beat of the pulsing song, their hands and bodies moving in provocative and sexual pulses.
The music blasted out, increasing the tempo of the beat into a frenzied and dominating string of notes. The couple grinned at each other before shifting into the next phase of the song, still moving with unbelievable speed and accuracy as they kept up with the loud and thumping beast, their bodies spinning around and rolling down in energetic and evocative steps. Hoya noticed Sunggyu smiling, and without missing a beat, flipped his head back shouted out over the music.
“Sing for us!”
Sunggyu grinned and obliged, singing along with amazing clarity and power, cutting straight through the complex composition, weaving his voice in lithely and artistically through the song with ease, until his sweet voice had melded perfectly into the intricate melody as the the pair danced in complete synchrony.
Sunggyu finished off the song with a clear steady note and then clapped as Hoya and Dongwoo turned towards him and pulled off a finishing pose.
“Hahaha that was great! Ughh..I’m so exhausted...” Laughed Dongwoo as he collapsed on the floor, drops of sweat rolling down his neck.
“Yeah, we got that dance down perfectly!” agreed Hoya as he sat on Dongwoo.
“HEY GET OFF ME, YOU’RE ALL SWEATY AND YOU STINK!”
“Yep, that was freaking amazing guys! Should I upload a video of this onto the internet?” asked Sunggyu as he joined them on the floor, “you’ll be internet stars in no time!”
“If you insist. We’ll be starting a new dance in a few days anyway.”
Sunggyu sighed as he rolled onto his back and stared at the amazingly clear blue sky. The three friends were currently hanging out on the school rooftop again. Hoya and Dongwoo had converted the roof into an impromptu dance studio by smuggling in a portable set of speakers and had set up base there. Sungyeol was still at school finishing off a project he had forgotten to do, so Sunggyu had decided to drop by the roof to see what the dynamic duo were up to.
“Yah, Sunggyu. Is that Woohyun guy still bothering you?”
“Cos if he is, we could…”
“Drop him a present again.”
“Yeah, I’m sure he won’t mind after last time.”
“Yep, his face was priceless.”
The couple smirked at each other.
Sunggyu propped himself up on his elbows and rolled his eyes at them.
“Yeah thanks a lot guys. Ahhh you got me into even more trouble.” Sunggyu complained pouting his lips.
“WHAT!? Did he beat you up again? Cos if he did..”
Hoya and Dongwoo cracked their knuckles simultaneously making Sunggyu wince.
“Nah, nothing like that…”

Sunggyu didn’t answer, already embarrassed as it was already. Hoya and Dongwoo exchanged glances with each other. And then burst out into loud wild laughter.
Those jerks.
“HAHAHAHAHA!! OMG NO KIDDING!? HE KI-KISSED YOU BAHAHAHA!!!”
“DAMN WOOHYUN THAT SLY DOG HAHAHA!!”
“Awww…poor Sunggyu! Hahaha, finally getting some action hey!?”
“YAH IT’S NOT LIKE THAT. That bastard forced himself onto me!”
“Hahaha! Man, we gotta go find Woohyun and interrogate him!”
“DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! NO. NO. SIT DOWN! BOTH OF YOU!!”
Still panting from their intense danced workout earlier, Hoya and Dongwoo collapsed into further tears of laughter, holding each other for support as they choked for air. Sunggyu glared at the both of them, but that simply sent them into even more severe fits of laughter much to Sunggyu’s extreme annoyance and chagrin.
“JEEZ STOP LAUGHING ALREADY! Dammit what kinda reaction is that? I almost got raped and all you two do is laugh!?”
“HAHAHA, SORRY SUNGGYU, IT’S JUST TOO FUNNY~~!!”
“Yeah, you hate getting kissed or hugged by people! This is freaking hilarious!!”
“Yeah, real funny guys. Haha. Can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?”
Hoya and Dongwoo finally stopped laughing and after a few minutes had finally calmed themselves down enough to maintain a normal conversation.
“So, what’d you do to Woohyun afterwards?” asked Hoya, still sniggering.
“Don’t tell me you…” continued Dongwoo, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
“Nuh-uh. No way. Not in a million years.”said Sunggyu shooting a glare at the pair, ignoring the smirks they were exchanging.
“So what’d you actually do?”
“Uhhh….”
“Not this again. Just hurry up and spill it!”
“Yeah, tell us already!!”
“………I socked him in the face. Hard. And a couple of times too.” Mumbled Sunggyu guiltily.
At this confession, Hoya and Dongwoo fell silent and gaped at him, their mouths hanging slightly open.
“You punc-“
“W-wait, you actually…?”

Hoya and Dongwoo gulped. Sure, they teased Sunggyu sometimes (ok, all the time), but even they knew not to make Sunggyu really angry. Why?
Because Sunggyu could get very very scary when he was angry.
And his punch is really strong. VERY strong.
Something which Woohyun seemed to have experienced first-hand.
“Huh. No wonder he looked like he got steamrolled by a truck today.”
“Yeah, and here I was thinking that he was stupid enough to walk into a tank…”
“When all he did was piss of Sunggyu…”
“Man, remind me to never piss you off Sunggyu…”
“Yeah, we like being alive…”
“It’s nice to be alive…”

“ALRIGHT alright, I get it already. I’ll try not to hit him too hard next time.” Said Sunggyu sheepishly.

“So you plan on kissing him again and then punching him too!?”

Too late. One glance from each other and Hoya and Dongwoo were bent over laughing hysterically again.
Sunggyu sighed as he glared daggers at the pair. Not that they would’ve notice; they were busy dying of laughter.

But deep down, Sunggyu thought to himself…
I wish everything could stay like this. If only this didn’t have to change, if we could continue laughing like this.
