Title: I love you okay? So be mine...
Pairing: Woogyu
Genre: Romance, drama, angst
Rating: NC-17
Warning: Yaoi, smut, etc

For the past two months, Sunggyu had gradually warmed up to Woohyun’s friendliness and openiness. They discovered that they had a similar passion for music, and had both shyly confessed that they considered the other person to be an unbelievably talented singer. They spent more and more time together and for the first time in a long time, Sunggyu felt like he no longer needed to be guilty for the past. The nightmares still came occasionally, but Woohyun’s words would always comfort him afterwards, just as Sunggyu’s music had once did.

Now that Sunggyu hung out with Woohyun mor.e often, his popularity had increased considerably. People took more notice of him, although the Woohyun fangirls were still upset. Hoya and Dongwoo had joined their group, and Sungyeol seemed to have developed a close attachment to L (much to Myungsoo’s chargrin) and Sungjong had welcomed them happily, because it meant that there were more people that the evil maknae could terrorise. But first, he’d have to get past Hoya and Dongwoo.

At first, Sunggyu had been mortified by his newfound popularity. It meant that people noticed him, something that he had previously been trying to avoid as much as could. It also meant that Woohyun’s crazy fangirls and fellow rich snobs started treating Sunggyu like he was less than dirt. However, Woohyun refused to stop talking to him, or to stop hanging around. So Sunggyu had grudgingly accepted that he wouldn’t be able to live the way he had before, but it was worth it, because Woohyun’s friendship meant a lot to him.

But that didn’t stop Woohyun’s insane stalker fans from hissing threatening messages at him or from taking every opportunity to trip or drop something heavy on Sunggyu. In the end, Sunggyu had just started hanging out with Woohyun full time. In Woohyun’s presence, the fangirls didn’t dare do a thing, and that was just the way Sunggyu wanted it.

He discussed a lot of things with Woohyun and they had many private conversations with each other. Sunggyu found that whenever he started feeling depressed, Woohyun would notice and was always able to cheer him up. It was almost like Woohyun was always watching him for signs that he was starting to feel unhappy.

And indeed he was. Woohyun couldn’t keep his eyes off Sunggyu, much to the disappointment of his fanatical admirers. Sunggyu’s presence made him a hundred times more self-concious and he was starting to go insane, wanting to touch and hold the person he loved. Unlike Sunggyu, he didn’t feel anything friendly towards Sunggyu. It was so much more than that.

Everything about Sunggyu made Woohyun love him even more. He loved the way Sunggyu would always sleep in the first class he had. He loved the way Sunggyu would stick his tongue out slightly everytime he thought about something. He loved the way the sun fell on his fluffy hair and the way he would close his eyes when he heard a sound that pleased his ears. He loved the way Sunggyu was so gullible and the way he was so clueless (Only sometimes though. Sunggyu’s ignorance about Woohyun’s feelings for him was driving him crazy).

Woohyun loved his smell, the way he felt, the way he talked, the little gestures he made when he was excited. He loved how enthusiastic and how keen and passionate Sunggyu would get when he started writing a new song. He loved the way Sunggyu adored and was so into music. He loved the way Sunggyu would randomly hum a tune or a melody out of nowhere and not notice it himself.  But most of all, he loved the beautiful sound of Sunggyu’s voice and the smile that lit up his entire world.

Woohyun had fallen hard for Sunggyu and his heart was no longer his to own. It already belonged to Sunggyu, even if the object of Woohyun’s affections didn’t know it himself.

Unfortunately, Sunggyu was not aware of Woohyun’s feelings, but someone else had noticed the way Woohyun stared at Sunggyu.

Woohyun blinked. How had he ended up in this situation? Talk about awkward…

He was sitting in a chair in an empty classroom and he was facing his two interrogators. Or rather, he was facing the two people who had thought it amusing to super glue all his belongings and his car to the floor and his locker.

Hoya and Dongwoo, the dynamic duo.

“Can I ask what exactly you two clowns think you’re doing?” he asked coolly as he raised an eyebrow at the two, “cause I’m still pissed about what you did to my car and my locker…”

“Yah whatever. We didn’t kidnap you to talk about that. Although it was funny seeing your face”, Hoya smirked, “No”, he continued, “ we came to talk to you about something. Or someone.”

“Yeah”, piped in Dongwoo, “and by the way, you deserved that prank. We came to talk to you about- “

“I wha-?” Personally, Woohyun felt like he did deserve that prank now that he looked back on it, but it had taken him 4 freaking hours to pry his car wheels off the goddamn road.

“SHUSH! I’m talking! How rude!”

“But you’re the one who glue-“

“I said I’m talking! Or do you need us to glue your mouth shut too!?”

“But I-“

“NOPE! NAH-UH! NOPE! NO! SHUSH!!”

Hoya grinned evilly behind Dongwoo’s back as he waved a tube of glue around menancingly. Woohyun gulped. He had no doubt in his mind that the pair would do just that. Heck, they’d do it even if he kept his mouth shut just for the fun of it.

“Yep, that’s better! Anywayyyyy….uhh…GODDAMN IT! I forgot what I was gonna say. See what happens when you interrupt me? I forget what I was gonna say” sighed Dongwoo as he stared at Woohyun reproachfully.

Woohyun’s was about to object to this when Hoya whispered something in Dongwoo’s ear, making his expression brighten.

“Yeah, that’s it! I remember now!”

Woohyun sighed. Either these two were still plotting to kill him, or they had something else in mind and were killing him him slowly with boredom without even realising it.

“Anyway,”Dongwoo continued again,” we’ve been watching you lately watching someone else and then we watched the way you watched them as they watched us back. Wait, does that even make sense?”

Hoya shrugged and took over.

“So, we reckon that you…”

“Mr. Nam Woohyun who is usually so full of himself…”

Woohyunwas about to open his mouth to protest, when he remembered Hoya’s threatening smile and the tube of glue that was stil in his hand, and decided to keep his mouth shut.

“Has fallen for someone…”

“Yep, you like them a lot…”

Woohyun swallowed. It couldn’t be, right…? There was no way these two idiots had figured out when they could barely pass grade three maths…

“And that person you like a lot is…”

“Our very own SUNGGYU!” The two finished together as they grinned mischeiviously at Woohyun.

Woohyun felt his jaw drop. They really did know! But how!?

“H-how!? How did you two idiots figur-?”

“Judging by your reaction, I’d say we were right Hoya.”

“Yep, definitely Dongwoo. And I take offense at being called an idiot. We may be idiots, but we’re smart enough to see through all that pretense shit you put up around our friend.”

“You just admitted you were an idiot Hoya…”

“Shut up Dongwoo! What I meant was, we know that you like Sunggyu and we know that he doesn’t know.”

“So what are we going to do about it?”

“Well, out of the goodness of our hearts-“

Woohyun snorted at this. He was sure a lot of people would disagree with that statement.

“Ok, out of the little miniscule tiny part of our hearts that is still somewhat good, we’re gonna help you and Sunggyu get together…”

“…and being the geniuses that we are…”

“…and also the criminal masterminds, we’ll definitely be able to help you out…”

“…and now that you’re receiving our exclusive help, feel free to throw yourself down and start grovelling at our feet in gratitude.”

Woohyun just stared at them. Had he heard right? Hoya and Dongwoo, who had large reputations as the people who would steal from their own mothers just for the entertainment, were actually offering to help him!?

“He’s not grovelling at our feet in gratitude Hoya…”

“No he isn’t, Dongwoo. Well, that didn’t go according to the plan…”

Woohyun interrupted them,

“Wait! Why are you guys even bothering to help me? Last time I checked, you guys were more than happy to drop a piano on my skull for the laughs, so why the sudden change in personality? And how did you know about me...liking Sunggyu?”

Hoya and Dongwoo rolled their eyes simultaneously as they both replied,

“Anyone with half a brain could tell. God, if you could get anymore disgustingly soppy, I think I would have started vomiting pink rainbows and unicorns by now. I swear, I really wonder whether Sunggyu has a brick for a brain, cause how he’s still oblivious is a goddamn miracle in itself…”

“He’s so clueless sometimes..”said Dongwoo mournfully, “it’s almost painful to watch…”

“Almost as painful as your attempts to get closer to him…” added Hoya smugly.

“And we thought that if we waited for Sunggyu to figure it out for himself, we’d be rotting dead bodies by the time that happens, so…”

“We decided to fast-track it a little, cause y’know, we’d like to be alive to see our Sunggyu’s first relationship…”finshed Hoya fondly.

Woohyun couldn’t help but think that Hoya and Dongwoo were acting like mother hens and he pointed this out.

“Yah whatever”, said Dongwoo waving his hand dismissively,”besides, seriously this time-“

“When are we ever serious?”

“Good point Hoya. But seriously, since you started hanging out with us, Sunggyu’s been happier? I dunno how to describe it, but he doesn’t get as depressed as easily as he used to.”

“Yeah, even though those filthy rich stuck up classmates of yours don’t like him, you on the otherhand, like him A LOT.”

“Yeah, and that’s a good thing. The point is, we’re gonna help you. So you want it or not?”

Woohyun felt his mouth curve into a smile. It seemed he had found allies in the most unlikely of places.

“Yeah. I think I will. Thanks guys…”

“Whatever, just promise us that when you start acting all soppy with each other, make sure we’re as faaaaar away as possible. Like. Far. Far. Far. Away. Far away.”

“Yep, and ask that annoying friend of yours, Sungjang, or Sungjeob or whatever to stop trying to pull tricks on us, cos he ain’t nowhere as close to our title of undisputed masters of mischieve and genius…”

And at this, Woohyun had to laugh out loud, only to regret it as Dongwoo and Hoya exchanged glances. Glances that confirmed that yes indeed, they were definitely the worst troublemakers Woolim High had ever seen, as they pulled out the tube of super glue.

***************************************************************************

Sunggyu cocked his head to one side as he stared at Woohyun.

“Are your lips bleeding?”

“Don’t ask. I barely escaped with my life…”

Sunggyu chuckled. He would have to have a word with Hoya and Dongwoo later, because they seemed to take sadistic pleasure in tormenting Woohyun especially.

They were currently sitting at the lunch table, which had been expanded considerably since Woohyun and his gang had joined them. Sunggyu and Woohyun were sitting next to each other, and were attracting quite a few stares from jealous or indignant wealthy kids. Across from them were Myungsoo and Sungyeol. From the look on Myungsoo’s face, it seemed that he did not think that jelly was made to be mushed up and constructed into little figures of men. Shame, because that was exactly what Sungyeol was doing, and he was trying to steal Myungsoo’s jelly to build the missing head of a little green man.

“Hey, Sunggyu…”

“Mmmm?” he replied as watched Myungsoo’s attempts to fend off Sungyeol’s greedy hands.

“After school today, do you wanna…come with me and get ice cream?”

“Ice cream?”, asked Sunggyu surprised.

“Yeah. We’ve hardly been out with the gang and all cos we’ve been so busy with school.”

“In that case, sure! Let’s go!”, laughed Sunggyu. “Man, I haven’t eaten ice-cream in soooo long…”he said dreamfully as he imagined the taste.

“Yah close your mouth, otherwise you’ll start drooling…”

“Shut up Hoya!” said Sunggyu as he snapped his mouth shut and blushed, something that Woohyun couldn’t help but stare at entranced.

Hoya and Dongwoo winked at Woohyun as they slid into the empty chairs at the end of the table and pushed their massive trays of food onto the table.

“You’re gonna eat all that?” asked Sungjong apprehensively as he looked at the enormous piles of food.

“What? This? This isn’t even enough to get us through one class…”

“Don’t look”, advised Sunggyu, “otherwise you’ll get sick seeing them inhale their food.”

“YAH LEE SUNGYEOL, STOP STEALING MY JELLY!”

“BUT HE’S MISSING A BRAIN!! A BRAIN FOR GODSAKES!! HE CAN’T THINK!! HOW CAN YOU BE SO HEARTLESS L!?”

“HE’S A FREAKING JELLY MAN, HE DOESN’T THINK!”

“NOT SO LOUD, YOU’LL HURT THEIR FEELINGS!!” gasped Sungyeol in mock surprise.

Myungsoo stared at him in disbelief, lost for words for about the thousandth time that day. He made a noise of exasperation, gave up and turned around to focus his attention on his own lunch. Sungyeol glanced at him and smiled cheekily. He really loved annoying L because he liked seeing the other person get so worked up about something so simple.

But of course, Sungyeol smirked as he busied himself constructing a jelly wife for the jelly man, it could also be because I want something else other than his attention from him. So for now, he’d play along and tag around with Myungsoo everywhere, in the hope that he could get his opportunity.

“Looks like Myungsoo and Sungyeol are getting along…” mused Woohyun.

“Seriously?” asked Sunggyu as he eyed them warily.

“Yeah! The fact that L is even raising is a voice is surprising. He never usually bothers with anyone else besides us. I was even beginning to think that he didn’t have any emotions let alone know what an emotion was.”

“YAH WOOHYUN I HEARD THAT!”

“Wow, and he’s angry too. This is history in the making…”

Myungsoo scowled as he turned his attention back to the little jelly men that had multiplied in numbers since his temporary distraction.

“HEY YOU GIANT DIDN’T I TELL YOU TO STOP THAT!?”

“BUT THEIR HEADS!!!” whined Sungyeol.

Myungsoo groaned in frustration. Why was this happening? Who hated him enough to send this bumbling, childish giant choding after him? It was like looking after a five year old kid, and Myungsoo found himself distracted and getting more confused than he had ever been before, but at the same time he couldn’t help but feel like he was finally interested in something.

Sungyeol interested him because he always did things that confused him. Sure the idea seemed strange, but when he thought he finally understood the choding’s childish mentality, he would do a full 180 and spring something new on Myungsoo. It was like life had suddenly decided to screw around with L and shatter his world completely. If anything, L felt like he was losing and going nowhere in his arguments with Sungyeol. His sarcasm and deathstares seemed to just roll off the giant choding, much to his disappointment.

The same monotonous boredom he had sat through everyday had disappeared entirely with Sungyeol’s arrival, and he wasn’t sure he hated the choding’s company as much as he thought he did. In fact, he was almost beginning to appreciate the welcome distractions to his day. Or not, he thought as Sungyeol scooped up a pile of jelly and dumped it onto his tray. Nevertheless, Myungsoo couldn’t deny the fact that he was starting to get used to Sungyeol’s company and his regular instrusions in his world.

Sunggyu and Woohyun laughed again as Sungyeol started building an army of jelly men on Myunsoo’s lunch tray much to his irritation.

“I reckon it’s a good thing that Sungyeol’s annoying L” observed Woohyun, still chuckling lightly.

“Hmmm…” Sunggyu raised an eyebrow as he watched his cousin’s antics. He knew he could be random sometimes, but it seemed like he was exaggerating it just to annoy Myungsoo.

“Really? I dunno, it looks like Sungyeol’s the one controlling L nowadays…”

“Seriously? Yeah, I know Myungsoo’s been more open since that choding started tagging along, but I don’t think Sungyeol is that bad….”

“Nahh, Sungyeol isn’t as innocent as he looks. He’s probably building that jelly family now just to piss Myungsoo off…”

Woohyun glanced at him and smiled,

“I don’t think L would be too happy too hear that, Gyu…”

*****************************************************************************************************************************

I can’t bear to look at him. He pisses me off so much!

So pathtic, that broke bastard’s probably begging for money from Woohyun.

Just check out the way he’s practically throwing himself at Woohyun!

He has no dignity whatsoever. He’s about as bad as a common slut.

Woohyun belongs to us! No one’s allowed near him except for us!

A commoner like him can’t be allowed to mix with us like that!

Who does he think he is, just coming in and taking our position like that!?

I HATE HIM!
