I hate stopwatches. Its probably mostly because I'm a clutz. I have to manage two stopwatches at th same time in my thesis stopping one when the participant says they feel that a cold ice bath feels painful and the other when they pull their hand out of the water. I usually try to write the times down right away but sometimes the participant can't

Sounds like a towel on lap plan is in order. This reminds me a bit of what happens when I'm not completely organized for a pap and already have started.

I actually figured out today that my stopwatch has split timing though it is not immediately obvious because it doesn't say it does and I only figured it out because I was screwing around with it and hitting random buttons. So now I only have to use one stop watch and can now have a pen in the other hand to write down the numbers as they come up. I still have to be a non-klutz and not double press the buttons though:)

Don't worry I just found out (by accident) the stopwatch I have does indeed have a split timer. It was cleverly hidden behind a veil of obscurity.
