OOOOkkkayyyy Miss Z..... Would you like to know exactly WHO has been in my heart all week???! Yes... Temple Grandin. I saw the 20/20 (or was it Prime Time?) feature on her last week. That is odd in itself because I RARELY watch TV. I watched her interview with complete humility and awe... she is absolutely an amazing person. Absolutely Amazing.

She is an awesome person, and one of my (and The Beloved's) heroes (we both have Asperger's, but only The Beloved has an actual formal diagnosis. Me, I reckon if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... maybe Temple will design a nice little holding sytem for it!)

Then that's really cool for y'all. Someone that you can relate. It helped me so much to read her explanations of what it feels like, I can imagine that if you share some of those feelings it would be validating to read her.

Even though I am against animal slaughter, I found Temple G's book very inspirational as well. She overcame such tremendous obsticals. Didn't she? We could all learn a lesson from her.

Yes, she is an inspiration to me. And, though she does make her living in the slaughter industry, she is probably the only person who is seeing to the cattle and cares what their experience is like.
