What the ... 2

I^m flying to Malmo Sweden in a week.  I just checked my itinerary and my flight out is Monday at 6.50 AM!!! What was I thinking when I booked that.

Originally I was supposed to have an 8 hour layover in Stockholm which would be great for seeing the city.  But that would have met being on a plan during the Eurovision Song Contest final.

Done the early bird special--with my six grandkids. Thanks to a very roomy plane, decent breakfast, and the most professional, but classy flight attendants that I've met in thrity nine years of flying. Really. I had six young people with me from ages 10-18 years, but everything went smoothly.

That sounds great.

Way back when when I worked for American Airlines (well the Sabre res system actually) I could fly nearly free if there was space on the plan, so I did these early morning flights quite often to be sure of having space (or to get home in time for work after a long weekend).

But I'm out of the habit now. I seriously did not look at the departure time because I was focused on the arrival time.

I'll make it though :)
