Now, I can't be the only one who thought 2010 went by like *that*. The moment Halloween came around Thanksgiving wasn't far behind and soon, Christmas! My aging day is practically a week away, as well! Whatever happened to the pause command on my Flick remote

Nope, you're not the only one. These months felt like a blur! And I realised the exact opposite: I am a people person. Always thought I was a loner and in a lot of things I still am, but I like spending time with people that get me without having to pretend I like their company.

Also, you pose an interesting point: how we're born into mediocrity and struggle to rise above it. A lot of people don't achieve greatness and it's true. But I'd guess in the long run that achieving happiness, even if we don't manage to achieve our goals and go all the way, might be more worthwhile in the end.
