i love it when you get into a new band, and it makes you utterly, ecstatically, happy. and you can't wait to buy that new album, get your bootleg, and just listen and be happy. then you get too into it, and it doesn't make you as happy. i hate that when that happens.

it's a win-win situation though. because then you fall out of that band or group or musician and you get back into them a month or two later and think, "damn they rule and i rule for listening to them".
