Wednesday, I learned that you shouldn't participate in the State of the Union drinking game if you're already kind of sick.
Thursday, I learned how much fun it is to block off more than half a house worth of seats for a show, and how profit tends to make corporations say one thing and do another.
Today, I learned multiple things. I learned that just because someone acts like they are your friend, or acts like they like you, it doesn't mean they are or they do. (I suppose I knew this all along, but it's always good to be reminded, in case you forget.) I learned that a good deal of people fitting this description are apparently members of the Princeton Tower Club.
This does not include
simrob.
This does not include Virginia.
This does not include Anne Riker.
This does not include Joey.
It probably doesn't include Jed, Jing, Nitesh, Eric,
shank_the_tank, and some people who aren't coming to mind right now.
I learned that the combined sign-in/bicker system tends to screw people over who get hosed at bicker, sticking them with having to choose between clubs that are farther down their list than second place, while also preventing them from bickering more than one club. I wonder if that's intentional.
Am I going to be stupid enough to bicker in the fall? Probably.
This nagging feeling that I've probably been trashed behind my back by people who've shown no indication of doing such a thing is not helped by the likelihood that I'll never find out about it for sure.
