After over a month of struggling to figure out the stupidity I've been facing dealing with Google+ and it's current controversially stupid Naming Policy, earlier today I managed to discover a way to just...DELETE it all.

I got an invite to join G+ as well. I declined as it is new, does pretty much the same thing for me as gmail, and it was very new. Kindof had the feeling there might be something wrong with it so decided to wait and see what happens with it. Now I'm glad I never accepted the invitations to join it. That's alot of problems for something that's supposed to make internet life easier.

The sad part is, while it *was* working, it was quite nice. I was actually inspired/tempted to post to it fairly regularly.

Forgot to add: The biggest frustration is that there was nothing that I recall during the sign up process to tell me this would be an issue, and the massive lack of communication once it occurred and no real visible way to correct it or contact them that I could find.

I was more easily able to find a way to just remove my existence there altogether as opposed to anything else.

Another friend of mine also just left G+ because of the real name nonsense. She had her real name on there as well, which has been legally changed to something that sounds a bit unconventional (she's a photography geek and a furre, so she had her name changed to reflect that), and there's complete legal documentation and everything, but they still suspended her account. :/
