as it turns out, the arrival of Zuriel has kept me pretty tied up. What computer time I get usually involves a little bundle of cute curled up in one arm as I try to type out some sort of message for people to read about what's going on. Okay, I don't presume to teach you how to raise Zuriel, but...

TEACH HIM MULTIPLE LANGUAGES

It's the best time for it, and you know it'd be cool to have a kid who can speak Mandarin Chinese.

Or, you know, at least Spanish.

actually, I'm seriously considering picking up Spanish again and if I do I'll be speaking in both Spanish and English to him regularly so he's naturally bilingual.

That sounds like a great idea! I know my brother's always regretted not being able to learn a second language early on, since it's nearly impossible for him to learn one now (his memory for language sucks).

Glad to hear you (and your family!) are all right. Zuriel's pretty ridiculously cute. ^^
