Yay for sneak viewings of Harry Potter movies! Especially at the Jordan's Imax theater. I thought it was great! My coworker's wife won tickets on the radio and their youngest didn't want to come so I got to! SO neat. The only thing is I've been re-reading the wrong one! I've been re-reading 6 so that I'd be ready for the next book, and wasn't

Lucky! I'm so looking forward to both the book & movie. I'm going to have to avoid the reviews, though, because we'll probably try to borrow the book off one of A.'s relatives so we don't have to buy it ourselves, which means waiting a few weeks until they've all read it. Or, I might break down & buy it. We'll have to see how acute the Harry Potter-possible-death anxiety is. :)

I waited to read the review on Boston.com until today. It didn't say much, but you never know. I ordered my book a while ago- I knew I wouldn't be able to wait. I think it would be terrible if she kills Harry off!!! If she does, Voldemort better be dead already or I'll be very upset.

Well, I have a theory that goes along the lines of: Since Voldemort "imparted" himself to certain objects etc. (like the diary) and they must be destroyed before he is fully destroyed, and he imparted some of himself in Harry with the whole scar thing (parseltongue, etc.) then Harry must be destroyed to destroy Voldemort. There may be some way to dance around this, but it seems to be what it's all leading up to. If she can come up with another way to kill V without killing off Harry that is internally consistent, I'm all for it.
