So this past week I decided to break into the acid dyes I bought a while back. If there is one thing knitting has taught me, its that using crap usually makes the job that much harder and less enjoyable. Wow those are beautiful!

I don't dye wool but I use cold water dyes from Dharma Trading in San Rafael, north of San Francisco (dharmatrading.com). They sell the best dyes and they have the best prices. Hurray for hippies who don't want to charge too much. lol

Thanks! I actually bought some stuff from them. I got the dye itself from amazon since I had a cert and they had decent pricing. But everything else was from them:) I'd love to see some of your stuff tho. Its like everything I ever loved about painting with none of the downside;)

I loved the colors but used to get frustrated when things didn't look like I wanted them too.
