Ponderables on a Legion Game

So I've mentioned wanting to start a Legion of Super-Heroes based game.  This, in and of itself, prompts me to think of three options.

1) A more or less canon-based "now"-ish game, with the focus on the Legionnaires as the characters.

2) A Legion Academy game, focusing on possible future Legion members.

3) A nextgen Legion game, focusing on the kids

What if it was Nation-based? Specifically a game set in the future of Nationverse, the same way that the Legion has always been in the future of the mainline DCU?

Which would also allow for occasional timetravel crossover plots, too.

(Not absolutely set on this, but I think it could be fun.)

So it would still be one of the versions of the Legion, just set in the DCN verse instead of the DCU?

Because if this is worked out where it runs over smoothly into a Legion game, I could work with that. :)

Exactly my idea. We know that, at one point, the future of Nation was the Reboot-era, followed by the Threeboot-era. But there's been a shakeup through time since then.

We could basically build our own Legion-verse from scratch. Include elements we wanted from all three, and maybe throw in new ones, too. Maybe even go through the founding and everything! We could tell all kinds of stories that way.

I'm flexible on which Legion in general, prefs-wise. I like the idea of this being the DCN Legion.

If possible, though, I would like to call dibs on playing the Dr. Fate of the era. :)

I'd also like to call dibs on Sensor from the post-ZH era. Because she's a goddamned brain-hijacking snake-princess and that is awesome.
