it's a compaq (a little scared, but I know lots of people that love them) I love it cause it's wide screen and therefore wide keyboard, and the keyboard is not as recessed so it's easier to type on (very important for the typing of the great literary masterpiece) :)

It was wonderful. I got it home, got it out of the box and my nine month writer's block evaporated.
