ZoneAlarm - Problems with latest windows update

Anyone using ZoneAlarm beware. A current windows update component, named KB951748, may block ZoneAlarm from connecting to the internet and in the process blocking all access from other programs. The only way to remedy this problem if it occurs is to remove the above update, or if like me that was too much trouble, by installing another firewall

Hmm, I just noted you on DA about my sudden vanishing act. That might have been the reason why my internet connection stopped working :/

I think it most likely is. I sent you some info there regarding it. I've gone on to use something called sunbelt personal firewall. It's usually a subscription type but it allows 30 days use then switches to a limited version similar to the zonealarm free version. But yes it's a very... very annoying situation and I was checking everything from the router to the connections before finding the culprit.
